Muscle Building For Skinny Guys and Gals

Since I was a kid I wanted to be big and powerful. After researching several muscle building courses, I found the best one for me. If you are on a similar quest, hopefully my process will save you some time and money.

When I was a 9 year old kid muscle building caught my eye. I used to see these Charles Atlas ads in Popular Mechanics about how to transform myself from a 67 pound weakling into a super ripped Adonis that attracted the babes like a magnet and intimidated other guys not to mess with me. I never wanted to be really big just impressive. As I got a bit older, I found I had a natural talent for most sports. I was either captain or first picked for most team sports. I always felt bad for the kids who were last picked or were considered a handicap to have them on your team. From my teens to young adulthood, I forgot about muscle building and just tried to keep active.

Now at middle age, I regret not having taken action earlier and long to have a muscular body once again. Call it a mid life crises or just plain vanity I wanted to be buff, strong and catch a little attention now and then. So, I went on a search to find the best muscle building program available and hopefully at a reasonable price. I wanted to learn from somebody who really wanted to help me and not just take my money. Someone who had actually went from skinny to brawny and offered a complete course on how to get the same results. I also wanted a muscle building program that had been around a while, was still popular, yet had very few people returning it to get their money back. Last but not least, I did not want to be told to use any steroids.

This was not as easy as I thought. First of all, there are literally hundreds of programs out there. I began reading forums and all the reviews I could find and narrowed it down to the three top muscle building programs. Of the three, a popular one, "Burn the Fat, Feed the muscle" was eliminated because of the high number of returns I was seeing. My hope is to help save you both time and money.

My Choice:

The one I bought turned out to be Vince Delmonte's "No Nonsense Muscle Building-Skinny Guy Secrets to Insane Muscle Gain" available at best-muscle-building.com. One thing you've got to appreciate from Vince, right of the bat, is that he is serious about getting results. Here is a before and after picture that dramatically show the transformation he underwent.

There is also a course for skinny gals on the sales page.

Although this guide has been out since May 2006, it has been hugely successful to the many that have bought it and used it. Digging a little deeper I found that very few had returned the course.

Here are my reasons for buying the course. Vince put me at ease right away giving me hope that I too could get the body I wanted if I was willing to work hard and follow his recommended diet. His powerful sales page tells the story of how he went from a frustrated skinny pip squeak to a national champion fitness model and personal trainer. Vince presents the course in a believable way and sets right many of the lies in the body building industry. He addressed my concerns and desires. The extensive bonuses were just icing on the cake. Basically I was sold.

Inside:
The "no excuses" course is a 52 week workout and diet program, based around 9 growth principles that build upon each other. Vince does a great job of explaining how these principles work. This is important. Understanding them goes a long way to efficiently build muscle as quickly as possible. I like the fact that he really makes sure you know, not just the whats but also the whys of your workout. A couple of the principles stress the importance of rest and recovery, the lack of which can actually hinder your progress.

The workout program does get a bit complicated at times. To get a little clarity, I visited the member's only forum and found this helpful 52 week planner that with a click, lays out your workout for that day, complete with animated exercise descriptions and tips for proper technique. This little tool got me back on track and left no doubt as to what was next.

One of my favorite things, is the ability to adapt the course to my lifestyle. I'm in week number 3 and find 2 visits to the gym a week to be about right for me. If you want to go hard and can make the time, Vince's course stays right with you. Emphasis is given to a balanced approach that bridges your weak and strong points. This was exactly what I was looking for and am really happy with the results so far.

This entry would be incomplete if I didn't mention the recommended diet thats included with the course. It is definitely an important part of the muscle building process. This turned out to be a real education for me. Supplements are not emphasized as you might have expected them to be. What to eat and when in the day to eat specific foods was a real eye opener.

To pack on the lean pounds a 30 day meal plan is provided, that is dependent upon your goals and activity level. The plan ranges from 2000 to 6000 calories per day. This even comes with a convenient grocery list to make it easy.

Conclusion:
Skinny Guy Secrets is not the latest muscle building guide to hit the market place. It is a proven, award winner that continues to sell well, and in my opinion the best course for the beginner and intermediate person wanting to sculpt their body and reach their muscle building goals. Vince's hard work and passion shines through helping you keep motivated and on track.
